There is a hot spring with a panoramic view of Lake Shinji.
- From the large public bath and open-air bath here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Shinji, and the indoor bath is very spacious. It is about a 3-minute walk from Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station, so it is very accessible. Dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal, and breakfast was a buffet with both Japanese and Western dishes. There is also a souvenir corner, so you can enjoy shopping at your leisure.

A hot spring hotel adjacent to Izumoshi Station
- Located next to JR Izumo Station and Ichibata Electric Railway, it is very convenient for sightseeing in the city, such as Izumo Taisha Shrine, Hinomisaki Lighthouse, Izumo hot spring, Izumo Winery (free wine tasting & free souvenir tasting). The hotel offers a lake view while soaking in Matsue Shinjiko hot spring. If you use this hotel as a base for heading towards Matsue, we recommend Tamatsukuri Onsen, Lake Shinji, Yaegaki Shrine, Matsue Castle, and Lafcadio Hearn's former residence.

- Although it is not in Izumo city, I would like to recommend this hotel. married couple and I stayed there last year, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It takes about 70 minutes to get to Izumo Taisha Shrine by Ichibata Railway from the station below the hotel, but the view of Lake Shinji is beautiful from both the room and the large public bath, so you will be satisfied.
