  • I enjoyed the hot springs and the food.

  • Since it's February, I recommend Jozankei Onsen, which is also close to the ski resort. This is the hotel where I stayed. The large public baths are located in the basement of the main building and on the top floor of the new building, which are contrasting locations, and I prefer larger baths, so I mainly went to the main building. I also went to the Water Kingdom Lagoon (which has a heated pool), which is a specialty of this hotel. I liked that the dinner buffet had freshly made meat dishes and sushi. There is a free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station.

  • A Jozankei Onsen inn with an open-air bath in Sapporo city!

  • We recommend this inn because it is conveniently located after visiting Shiroi Koibito Park. The hot springs have an open-air bath if you wish. It is an open-air bath with a great view from which you can enjoy the winter scenery. Meals are buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes that children will enjoy, for both dinner and breakfast. This is a recommended inn because you can swim in one of the largest indoor heated pools in Hokkaido.

  • A famous large hotel in Jozankei, familiar from TV commercials

  • This is one of the famous hotels in Jozankei, the inner sanctum of Sapporo. It is one of the top-class large hotels in Jozankei, and is often shown on Hokkaido TV. One of the selling points of this hotel is the largest indoor pool in Jozankei. It is a great place for both adults and children to enjoy, so it's a good place to come with friend. The meals are served buffet style, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious tastes. There are quite a few Hokkaido-style dishes. The rooms are Japanese-style, Japanese-Western, and Western-style, and I had a comfortable stay. The customer service was also not bad. As for the baths, there are two baths, one in the basement of the building is spacious and consists of an indoor bath and open-air bath, and the other is on the top floor of the hotel, with an indoor bath and open-air bath and a view, so the fact that you can enjoy two baths is also a selling point. The price is quite reasonable, and I think it's a good hotel where you can casually enjoy hot spring.

  • A hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a pool that will leave you with fond memories

  • If you have children, we recommend this inn with a pool. The very large pool is popular with couples and groups of three generations. There are two Buffet venues, so you can choose according to your budget and family size. There are many room types, including Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and the Japanese-style room is probably the best choice as it is spacious enough for a family of four.

  • This hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the Toyohira River suspension bridge, one of Tourist attractions. Depending on the room type and number of people, there are plans that fit within your budget, including buffet breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a hot spring facility called Mizu no Daikoku, so you can enjoy bathing in your swimsuit even if the weather is bad.

  • It's close to the center of Sapporo and convenient to the ski resorts.

  • This is hot spring Jozankei Onsen and you can relax in the bath. The price is about 12,000 yen per night (it can be less than 10,000 yen if you're looking for something cheaper), the inn is clean, and it's located next to a mountain stream. The ski resort is about a 20-minute drive from Jozankei Onsen. For ski resorts, I recommend Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort, which is famous in Hokkaido. The slopes are wide and the gondola facilities are good. The snow quality is powder snow that is unique to Hokkaido. It can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers.
