- This is a luxury inn where you can see Lake Toya from your room. The view of Lake Toya from the panoramic open-air bath was so amazing I was speechless. The inside of the inn was spacious and beautiful, and it was truly impressive and luxurious. It was worth it just to take a bath in open-air bath.
Answered question: married couple and I are going to Toyako Onsen for the New Year holidays. What are some recommended lodgings with a view of Mt. Yotei and Lake Toya?

Hotel on the shores of Lake Toya
- This hot spring fits the description perfectly of Breathtaking view hot spring we were looking for, where "the scenery and the hot spring seem to merge together." Lake Toya is right in front of us, so when you soak in the open-air bath, the water looks like it's flowing down onto the lake. There is also a large bathhouse in the style of a Showa-era public bathhouse, which has a completely different atmosphere and is interesting. Overall, the hotel has a modern Japanese feel, making for a relaxing stay.
