- Located on Gojozaka, close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, you can enjoy a good old atmosphere even though it is in the city. We also recommend the delicious and affordable breakfast. The toilets and baths are shared, but there are plenty of amenities. Above all, the landlady is extremely attentive and you can easily ask her about places to see and recommended shops. This is a heartwarming inn with excellent hospitality and value for money.
Answered question: Can you recommend a Kyoto Machiya accommodation? My budget is less than 20,000 yen for two people with no meals.
