- This is Shukubo located in Chion-in Temple, a famous tourist spot in Kyoto. All rooms are equipped with a bath, toilet, and air conditioning. There are also rooms with beds. The cuisine, which uses seasonal ingredients, is kaiseki cuisine, which is especially recommended for those who are not satisfied with shojin cuisine. Although it does not feel like Shukubo lodging, you can experience copying sutras, and it is a lodging where you can experience luxuries that are a little different from ordinary Shukubo.

Shukubo!
- It's located inside Chion-in Temple, so it's very accessible! It serves kaiseki (traditional Japanese course meal) instead of shojin ryori (vegetarian cuisine), and the menu includes fish and meat, which is a novelty compared to other Shukubo. However, you can still participate in the copying of sutras and morning memorial services. There is a large, beautiful bath, and it's practically a "hotel" run by the temple.
