  • There are no accommodations that offer shuttle buses to Kagoshima Chuo Station, so we had to go to Ibusuki Station!

  • Kagoshima Unfortunately, there are no inns that offer a free shuttle bus to Chuo Station. There are even some inns that don't even offer a shuttle bus to Ibusuki Station. Ibusuki Station and Kagoshima Chuo Station can be reached by local train. Not only can you enjoy Ibusuki Onsen the source of spring water in the indoor baths of the large bathhouse and open-air bath where you can look at Kinko Bay from a close distance, but you can also enjoy a sand steam bath (990 yen per bath). In addition, there is a private half bath open-air bath. For dinner, you can choose your main dish + half buffet style, and eat a lot of local dishes. Breakfast is a buffet with sweets and fruits.

  • A seaside inn overlooking Kinko Bay at the foot of Mt. Uomi

  • If you're visiting Ibusuki Onsen, how about "Kyuka Mura Ibusuki"? This inn is located on the coast overlooking Kinko Bay at the foot of Mt. Uomi. The guest rooms are divided into two groups, one on the ocean side and one on the Mt. Uomi side, and come in Japanese-open-air bath hot spring running water, an indoor bath covered with tatami mats and a sand hot spring. The meals are a multi-course meal with a half buffet, so you can have fun choosing your meals. It's a bit out of the way from Kagoshima Chuo Station, but there is a free shuttle bus from Ibusuki Station. It's about 10 minutes away.

  • A popular place for couples and families

  • This is a holiday village, so it's clean, reasonably priced and easy to use. The indoor bath in the large natural hot spring bath has a tatami floor, so it feels very nice on the feet. open-air bath has a high fence so it's a little hard to see the view, but the breeze was pleasant and refreshing. This sand bath does not require a reservation, so you can make a reservation on the day. The staff explained everything to me carefully, so I was able to enjoy the sand bath to my heart's content and sweat a lot. There is also a private bath, although I didn't use it. You can also try kayaking and snorkeling, so there are a lot of different things to try.

  • This is an inn where you can enjoy a sand bath on-site.

  • This inn is highly recommended as it has a sand bath on-site. It is a pleasant open-air bath facing Kinko Bay, where you can enjoy Directly flowing from the source of Kinko Bay. This bath allows two people to enjoy hot spring by themselves. We highly recommend this inn as it has a wide range of hot spring facilities, including the sand bath you requested.

  • As it is a holiday village, there are also hands-on events.

  • There is a sand bath, a specialty of Ibusuki. The venue is very spacious, and you can sweat comfortably while enjoying the open feeling. Afterwards, you can feel even more refreshed in the open-air bath, which is full of freedom, and you can immerse yourself in the best mood. The meal is a half-Buffet style, with a mini-kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )and a wide variety of Buffet, so the whole family can enjoy it. Because it is a vacation village, there are also fun interaction programs.

  • The sand hot spring at the inn are the best.

  • This is a holiday village, so you can stay safely and at a reasonable price. There is a spacious sand bath here, where you can change into a work uniform, have the staff cover you in sand, and sweat it out thoroughly. After washing off the sand in the shower, you can head straight to open-air bath. I sweated so much that I can't describe how refreshed I felt. There are various types of rooms, and I chose a twin room facing the sea, which had a great view and was spacious and clean. I also liked that the floors were wooden, which gave it a clean feeling.
