- Located near the popular old town, this is a hidden gem of an inn with a great Takayama atmosphere. It is an inn in the style of an old-fashioned house in Hida Takayama, and there is none of the hustle and bustle of a grand hotel. The friendly landlady and staff were very welcoming, and I was able to spend a very pleasant time here. There is also a natural hot spring. The food was delicious, and I was happy to have a wide selection.
