• It takes about 30 minutes by round-trip shuttle bus from Sapporo city (near Makomanai subway station) to reach Jozankei Onsen. This hotel in particular is run by the Tsuruga Group, which touts itself as a resort in Hokkaido, so the rooms and baths are spacious, allowing you to fully enjoy the resort atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner buffets are not only plentiful but also of high quality, making them delicious. In the evening (in winter), they also offer a stylish touch, such as roasting marshmallows by the fireplace! Although it is a little pricey, we highly recommend it.
