- Izumo Taisha Shrine can be reached by taking the Ichibata Electric Railway from Izumoshi Station to Izumo Taisha-mae Station via Kawato Station, so if you stay at this hotel, you will feel very safe. This is a safe hotel even for women traveling alone.
- How about this hotel in front of Izumo Station? I think it's the cleanest hotel around the station. It's run by the Ichibata Electric Railway Group, and gives the impression of being a slightly better hotel in the countryside. It may not be as good as a high-class hotel in the city, but it is clean enough. It had a safe atmosphere even for women traveling alone. You can check in right after exiting the ticket gate (there seems to be a direct exit), so you can check in without getting wet even in bad weather. I think it was around 8,000 to 10,000 yen for a single room. It may be more expensive than usual due to the Great Shrine Transfer, but I think it will fit within your budget even in the months of the gods in October and November.
