This is an inn with wonderful hospitality from the staff. The attentiveness of the staff enhances the food, and the meals, which use a generous amount of seafood and mountain produce, are the best. The hot springs are great, but there are also rooms with views of Matsuyama city and rooms with lovely gardens, so be sure to check them out.

How about spending some time at Hotel Kowakuen Haruka? It's very close, about a 1-minute walk to the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Haikara Street, which can be reached by elevator for guests only. The large public bath is spacious and offers a panoramic view of Matsuyama city.

Also, the rental of Imabari towels for hot spring was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to spend a comfortable night in Dogo.

If you come all the way to Matsuyama, be sure to stay at Dogo Onsen. The recommended inn is Yamatoya Honten. It is right next to the Dogo Onsen Main Building. You can head to hot spring without carrying any luggage. The food is fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea.

The bath, food, rooms, and service were all perfect. The bath was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and there was so much we couldn't finish it. The rooms were also clean. It was also close to the Botchan bath. Of course, there was an indoor bath, but if you come to Dogo, you have to take a bath in the Botchan bath. It's just a short walk away.
