Niigata is a very large area, so it's hard to decide where to stay, but assuming you want to stay somewhere close to Niigata city, I recommend Tsukioka Onsen Onsen, which is a little to the east. For 20,000 yen at a hotel in this area, you can enjoy a pretty good room and food. I think the seasonal dishes are perfect with local sake.

立地も歴史も最高です

歴史と浪漫のホテルの縁起も佳く最高です。和食・イタリアン・中国料理などレストランが多数ありますが、どれも美味しくて最高です。ホテルの部屋からは日本海が望めます。ビジネスや家族連れで何度も利用しました。古町通りのクラブ街にも歩いて数分で行けますので、本当に便利です。

新潟駅南口直結でとても便利なホテルです。新潟で宿泊する際は必ずここ。ごはんがおいしいんですよ。駅中にある越後のお酒ミュージアム「ぽんしゅ館」はおすすめです。新潟のお酒のほとんどがあるんじゃないかと思うほどお酒がいっぱいあります。また、ご近所にある「葱坊主」というごはん屋さんもおすすめ。お酒もつまみもおいしいお店です。

If you come to Niigata to enjoy the hot springs, why not try Sado instead? You can experience a different atmosphere from Honshu. The recommended hotel is "Sado Resort Hotel Azuma." It has a wonderful view.

露天風呂付客室があるので、べろべろに飲んでもゆっくりと部屋で酔いを醒ましてからお風呂に入れます。もちろんお料理もオープンキッチンで腕自慢の板さんの越後料亭が食べられます。お土産には越乃泉慶吟醸酎なんていうのも購入できるので楽しいですよ。

以前、新潟旅行で家族で泊まったことがあります。和室や洋室など色々なタイプの部屋やプランがあり、温泉も色々なタイプがありました。地酒も色々楽しめました。アクセスは、電車なら新潟駅から約20分の豊栄駅・新発田駅からシャトルバスもあり、車も安田ＩＣから20分と比較的近いです。
