Want to experience Namahage in Akita? The Oshika Peninsula is a good place, but there are only a few hotels in Onjuku. I recommend the Oga Kanko Hotel. It's right next to the sea, and is often visited by anglers. The seafood dishes are delicious. The hot spring has a large open-air bath with a great view.

If you are looking for a relaxing hot spring inn in Akita that can accommodate family of four, why not consider Akita hot spring as one of your options? The facilities are relatively well-equipped and the prices are reasonable, so I think it will meet your needs. I was also glad that hot spring had open-air bath.

ホテルのある男鹿半島はなまはげの郷として知られます。男鹿温泉郷に属し、温泉は源泉掛け流し。こちらの名物は、漁師の郷土料理「磯焼き」。魚の入った桶に焼いた石を入れて瞬時に沸騰させる料理で、瞬間的に調理するので魚介の美味しさが閉じ込められるのだとか。ホテル近くには、なまはげを見る事ができる施設「なまはげ里神楽」がありますので、こちらにも是非足を運んでください。

なまはげ太鼓ショーも行われる和気あいあいとした温泉宿です。

こちらのオススメ理由は、男鹿のなまはげ旅館というような、たっぷりなまはげ気分に浸れるところです。夕飯後になまはげ太鼓ショーもあってお客さんたちが和気あいあいと盛り上がりますし、温泉のお湯が出る蛇口もなまはげの姿をしていて迫力ありますよ。場所も日本海が一望できるところにあり、食事もお鍋や地元の料理を美味しく食べられますし、まさに家族でほっこりできます。ちなみになまはげ太鼓のお兄さんたちは若くてカッコイイので、娘さんも怖いというより喜ばれるかと思います。

近くの施設では、夜になまはげ太鼓のイベントがあります。ホテルからすぐなのですが、送迎バスも出ていてらくちんです。なまはげの体験館もあるので、ここに泊ってそちらを訪問するのもいいと思います。我が小学校3年生の娘は泣いてしまいましたが。

秋田で体験したなまはげを娘にも体験ですね。でしたら、駅前のホテルはいかがでしょうか。「ダイワロイネットホテル秋田」さんです。温泉こそありませんが、満足感の高いホテルですよ。どこへ行くのにも便利な立地です。
