I recommend Oedo Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ise Shima in Mie Prefecture. The view of the sea around Ago Bay is very refreshing and comfortable. It is a wonderful hotel located inside a national park, which is also recommended for celebrations of recovery. The hot springs are also very pleasant. The breakfast and dinner Buffet are delicious and will give you energy. I would like to recommend this place.

Located on the shores of Lake Biwa, this hotel allows you to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from the open-air bath is unobstructed and you can get a great view of Lake Biwa. There are four different types of private hot springs, so you can enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. If you choose a room, you can also expect a view of Lake Biwa.

All guest rooms are designed with privacy in mind, with open-air baths and terraces in their own gardens. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel like you've entered another world. The rooms are easy to use, and the food is so beautifully presented that you'll almost regret eating it while enjoying the view of the garden. The hospitality of the inn staff was excellent, and we were able to relax. Ryokan (Japanese inn) is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Inoyae Valley.

It's located in a natural area near a waterfall, so I recommend it as a place to stay while feeling the nature. The hot spring is located close to Odaru, one of the Kawazu Seven Waterfalls, so you can experience bathing in the hot spring while feeling the grandeur of the waterfall. Kawazu cherry blossoms are blooming nearby, and are lit up at night. You'll feel relaxed in the natural environment, and be moved by the sight of the illuminated cherry blossoms. I think it's wonderful.

I recommend "Kashoen Bettei Fuka" in Yuhigaura Onsen. Above all, you can enjoy an adult atmosphere. The sunset (selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan) is beautiful, and the sunset from the observation hot spring bath was also exceptional. I went there with my wife in our car 4 or 5 years ago, and the sunset was impressive. The food was good, it was clean, and the staff were kind. Please consider staying there.

How about Hoshinoya Kyoto in Arashiyama, Kyoto? You can get there by boat from a private ferry. You can enjoy the view of the Katsura River while bathing in the hot springs, and hear the murmuring of the river. Even though it is located in one of the busiest areas in Kyoto, it is enveloped in secluded tranquility.

Enjoy the open-air bath in the garden in front of your room 24 hours a day. You can also visit the outdoor Visiting hot springs of Dogo Onsen. For sightseeing in the city, the hotel has a private taxi that costs 10,000 yen and will guide you efficiently. There are tourist facilities and shopping streets near the hotel, so you can enjoy yourself all day. On the first day, walk around the nearby areas. On the second day, take a taxi to sightsee. If you drive yourself, it will be difficult to find a parking space. They will also take photos for you. Enjoy a luxurious bath and delicious food. I recommend cutting out rice and fried foods in advance. This will improve the quality of the food. The regular meals are too large for seniors.

Among them, Arima Grand Hotel is recommended because it has a great view and good food. The open-air bath has the highest view in Arima. It is also nice to relax in a private hot spring. Arima Onsen has good water quality, and the iron-rich Kin-no-Yu is a true hot spring. It is a famous hot spring in the mountains, so you may have been there, but if you want to relax and stay for two nights in a hot spring, Arima Onsen is the place to go.

Hagi, Yamaguchi, is a town rich in history and culture, and has many historical buildings from the Meiji Restoration. We recommend staying at Hotel New Tanaka in Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi. The hotel has been visited by the Emperor and the Crown Prince. From the open-air bath on the rooftop, you can enjoy an impressive view of the starry sky and the night view of Yuda Onsen town on clear nights.

There are many inns with hot springs in Dogo Onsen, but I don't think there is a better Ryokan (Japanese inn) than Funaya. As a first-class Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs, it has a full range of facilities such as a foot bath and a cafe, and the garden is large, so you can be satisfied just by staying inside the building. Of course, the super famous Dogo Onsen Main Building is within walking distance.

I recommend Nakanoshima in Nachikatsuura Onsen. The entire island is a hotel, so you can relax here. There is a promenade where you can take a short walk, and the open-air bath faces the sea, so the view is great. The rooms are spacious and quiet, so you can really relax.

If you are looking for a get well gift, I recommend Awaji Island. Awaji Island was the site of the Flower Expo, and in spring, colorful flowers bloom and are very beautiful. Yumesenkeisho Besso Tenhara in Sumoto City has an open-air bath where you can enjoy the wonderful view where the sky and sea blend together. If the weather is good, the sunrise you can see from the open-air bath is Breathtaking view! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are also maisonette-type villas. The food is also carefully prepared to make you feel the season, using ingredients from Awaji Island, making it a very appealing inn.

This is a lovely inn built in the Sukiya style in Gero Onsen. The open-air bath offers a panoramic view of the carefully landscaped garden and mountains, giving you a sense of freedom. The rooms are Japanese-style rooms with a calming and elegant atmosphere, and are spacious, making them perfect for relaxing. You can enjoy the cityscape and nature from the windows of your room. I had a Japanese-style room, but there are also Western-style rooms available, so please choose whichever you prefer. The meal was a delicious kaiseki meal, and we also had Hida beef.

It is also said to be good for beautiful skin, and the spring quality is excellent because it is 100% natural hot spring. You can enjoy a nice view of the ocean of Beppu Bay that spreads out before you while soaking in the hot spring. You can relax with meals served in your room. It's a little disappointing that there are no flowers in bloom, but if you go a little independent guest cottages, you can see the irises in full bloom and the beautiful Miyamakirishi.
