Asakusa hotels recommended for foreigners

I recommended the Asakusa View Hotel to an acquaintance from Canada when he came to Japan. He was very pleased. He was impressed not only by the excellent hospitality, but also by the beautiful, clear view with no tall buildings around. The rooms are spacious, so even if you're big, you won't feel cramped. This is a recommended hotel near Asakusa.

東京の下町の中に葛飾区柴又があります。当ホテルは千葉県にありますが柴又に大変近く、川を渡ると柴又に行くことができます。柴又駅には寅さんの銅像があり、下町の風情が感じられる商店街があります。当ホテルはセキュリティが高く、女性客にも安心して泊まれます。朝食付ツインルームで1名利用でも比較的にリーズナブルな価格です。

It has a downtown atmosphere. What's more, it's amazing how much downtown atmosphere there is, just one stop away from Shinagawa Station on the Keihin Tohoku Line. Nippori is nice, but it has a slightly brothel-like atmosphere, so I'd recommend Oimachi. It's also very convenient to access both Haneda Airport and Tokyo Station.

Why not try the guesthouse? This inn is an old house that has been renovated into a guesthouse. The long garden with its veranda and stepping stones exudes a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. You can also chat in the living bar. The place is right next to Tokyo Metro Iriya Station.
