You can also enjoy the night view of the hot spring town from the open-air observation bath, so you can relax in it. Dinner is a buffet with all-you-can-eat Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine, including churrasco, sushi, tempura, and local dishes, and it is very satisfying.

We had a wonderful view of the mountains from our Japanese-style room. open-air bath with the trees in front of you gave us the feeling of forest bathing, which was great. As it is part of the Oedo hot spring group, the buffet was very substantial. There was a wide variety of Japanese, Western, Chinese and sweets on the menu. The tempura was freshly fried in the live kitchen, and the steaks were also freshly grilled, which was very satisfying. Being able to choose the color of the yukata was also a nice service. There are also playful elements to this inn, so it's a fun place to stay.

Because it is on a hilltop, you can see the cityscape from your room and the large public bath, and you can take great photos. Photography is my hobby, so I think this hotel has one of the best views in Gero Onsen. The prices are reasonable, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are delicious, so you will be satisfied.

"Kashobo Fukumatsu, a hotel with Breathtaking view" is located along the Kinugawa Valley, a 7-minute walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station. The guest rooms are bright and clean Japanese-style rooms, all facing the Kinugawa Valley, with large windows allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the valley. The hotel has a large public bath and an open-air bath, and the view from the open-air bath is particularly spectacular, giving it the feel of a hidden hot spring.

If you are staying at Kinugawa Onsen, I recommend Kinu no Yado Shiki Ootoro. It is a small Ryokan (Japanese inn) located along the calm, clear Kinugawa River. The interior has a slightly retro feel and a nice atmosphere. For meals, they serve delicious dishes such as Japanese black beef and Nikko yuba. They also offer a plan for in-room dining, which is highly recommended.

The inn was built to make the most of the characteristics of the time when it was used as a samurai residence, and to respect the good Japanese temples and shrines and traditional architecture, so I think it was the perfect inn for our request. Inside, there were rooms equipped with latest facilities and Japanese hearth.

An inn called "Toryukan" in Kawaji Onsen, which is further back from Kinugawa Onsen, is recommended because it gives a rustic atmosphere! It's a good sense of relaxation that high-end Ryokan (Japanese inn) doesn't have. The room is nice and relaxed, and it feels nostalgic and warm, and there is a sense of value such as room meals even though it is a low price. The hot springs are also flowing from the source, and you will warm up to the core of your body!

If you are in Beppu Onsen, how about "Okamotoya Ryokan (Japanese inn)"? It is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a quaint appearance where buildings from the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras are mixed. Once you pass through the entrance hall where you can feel the tradition of the inn that was founded in 1875, you will find a purely Japanese-style building. The guest rooms are filled with the scent of wood, and there are special rooms with indoor baths with 100% natural hot spring water and spacious Japanese-style rooms available. You can also enjoy hell steaming, which uses the steam from the hot spring that gushes out. kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）, which features seasonal ingredients unique to Oita, is colorful and vibrant. You can enjoy handmade flavors that are also carefully made to look good.

Bettei Sasane is located in the middle of nature and has an open-air bath with a great view. You can enjoy Breathtaking view while soaking in the hot water. There are private baths and rooms with semi-open-air baths, so you can relax in the bath without worrying about other guests. You can enjoy multi kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, which will refresh both your body and mind. I'm sure it will be a wonderful memory.

This inn is located along the Kinugawa River, so you can get a full view of the river from your room. You can also listen to the sound of the clear stream from the open-air bath while looking down at Mount Keicho. You can enjoy the scenery of each season, from the fresh greenery in spring to the autumn leaves in autumn.

This is located in the mountains at an altitude of 1,300 meters in Kinugawa Onsen. It is a log cabin hot spring inn that takes advantage of its location surrounded by mountains and valleys. The rooms are equipped with tatami mats, and you can enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of the design. It was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the rare dish of boar hotpot, which matched the atmosphere of the inn.

For couples, we recommend "Ogawaya" in Gero Onsen. The rose bath is highly recommended. It's a setting that any woman would enjoy. For meals, you can choose the buffet for breakfast. You will be satisfied with both the quality and quantity.

Here you can enjoy the buffet meals you request. Although you will be dining at a sister hotel, you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine. There is also an all-you-can-drink option, and an all-you-can-eat crab option. In the open-open-air bath, you can enjoy the starry sky while soaking in the hot water.
