I went to Yakushima 10 years ago. It is the largest hotel in Yakushima and has a 33,000m2 garden. When you enter the hotel, you are greeted by a huge Yakusugi tree that reaches up to the second floor. I don't know if it's still there, but when I went to Yakusugi Land by bus, I was surprised that the guests of Iwasaki Hotel were allowed to board even when it wasn't a bus stop, and when we came across a deer in the mountains on the way, the bus stopped and we had time to take photos. It was a wonderful trip.

An inn where you can enjoy two hot springs, Kawahara Onsen and Bandaiko Onsen.
-
There are rooms with open-air bath here, so we were able to enjoy dinner in our rooms at our leisure. The best thing about open-air bath in our rooms is that we can use them whenever we want without any worries. The tasteful design made for a luxurious time. The large open-air bath bath was also spacious, and we enjoyed a blissful time here while gazing at Nature beauty. Another nice feature was the service of choosing colorful yukata from a wide range of options.

An inn where you can enjoy a leisurely meal in a room with a close-up view of the Yubatake hot springs at Kusatsu Onsen

Although it is called a hotel, it is a long-established inn that has been in business for 300 years since the Edo period. You can see the Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu, from your room. The Yubatake is quite beautiful when lit up at night. For meals, you can enjoy sukiyaki made with Joshu beef, and one drink, including alcohol, is also included. 100% natural hot spring directly from two of the six hot springs in Kusatsu Onsen. You can see the planes from the hotel
-
It's only a one-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, so it's convenient as a base for visiting the ancient cedar trees. It's not as luxurious as a resort hotel, but the rooms are clean and there is a bathing facility in front of the hotel where you can enjoy hot spring. The accommodation fee is quite cheap, although it only has a self-service breakfast service. For dinner, if you contact the owner in advance, they will take you to a nearby restaurant.

You can enjoy Breathtaking view view from the open-air observation bath
-
This is a hotel where you can feel full just by looking at the view without eating, but the view of Mt. Fuji from the Yamanashi side is controversial. I think you can enjoy the best of Mt. Fuji from Yamanashi, where you can see it from the building, rather than from the Shizuoka side. There is no open-air bath in the room, but you can see Lake Yamanaka and Mt. Fuji. The hot spring is the hotel's open-air observation bath, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka, and you can soak in it for a long time.

Enjoy Ryokan (Japanese inn)-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in your room
-
If you are looking for a hotel in Kusatsu Onsen where you can dine in your room, we recommend the "Kanemidori" Hotel. Meals can be served in your room or in a private room. Dinner is a Ryokan (Japanese inn)-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal ingredients, allowing you to fully enjoy the local flavors of Gunma. Also the annex has a private open-air bath, so it is highly recommended!
