There is a tatami hot spring!
-
A recommended spot is the Toy, Doll and Automobile Museum. The booths where you can experience different jobs are popular with children, but there are plenty of exhibits that adults can enjoy as well. The most dangerous thing for children in hot springs is slipping and falling, but this bath is a tatami-floored hot spring, so it's safe. If you find it difficult to enter the large bath, you can also enjoy the small open-air bath, which is also covered with tatami.

It's a casual hotel and popular with families.
-
This hotel is located at Zanpa Cape in Yomitan. There are many families, so I think the staff are used to it. It's not new, but the location is attractive because it's right across the road from the beach. Of course, there is a pool and a large public bath. If you have a rental car, it's easy to get to the supermarkets (Max Value and Kanehide), and during the summer season, they also have fireworks every other day.

-
There are relatively large rooms.
-
I'm not sure if this will completely meet your request of "I want to go to Yufuin with my family and spend some time relaxing," but I think you should consider "Iyotomi" as one of your options. The rooms are relatively spacious and have a semi-open-air bath, so I think it would be a good place to relax in the hot spring without worrying about the people around you.

A luxurious hotel in the perfect location for sightseeing in northern Okinawa
-
It's a little far from the airport, but it's a large resort hotel along Route 58. I've stayed here twice so far, and it's a popular hotel with families. I always stay here when I'm sightseeing in the north. In Naha city, I recommend the Okinawa Kariyushi Ryukyu Hotel Naha, which is close to Kokusai Street, convenient to transportation, and reasonably priced.

Recommended for enjoying private beaches in Okinawa
-
Although it is a little far from the airport, it is a private beach that can only be used by hotel guests, so it is not crowded and even small children can swim safely. Parasols are provided. There is also a slide in the pool. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff are kind. There is no convenience store, but the hotel's shop seems to be enough.

It's right next to the Churaumi Aquarium.
-
This place is very close to the Churaumi Aquarium, so it's very convenient for transportation. We stayed in a 4-bed family room. We could see the ocean from the window and enjoyed the resort atmosphere. Breakfast was a buffet, and they had fruits that my children like, so they were happy. The pool had two different depths so that small children could play safely.

All rooms independent guest cottages and each room has an open-air bath.
-
Since you were bringing children, I think this hotel, which has a shuttle service from Yufuin Station, is convenient. It's not a large Ryokan (Japanese inn), but it's a charming Ryokan (Japanese inn), and all the rooms are independent guest cottages, so you can relax. All the rooms also have hot springs. I think it's perfect for relaxing with the family. There is also a foot bath where you can enjoy the view of Yufuin.
