The private baths are amazing because you can soak in the water while gazing at the starry sky.

こちらは由布院の大自然に囲まれた環境にあり、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごしたいときにおすすめの宿です。古民家風の造りで、温もりある洒落たデザイン空間です。お部屋はいくつもタイプがあるのでお好みに合わせるとよいかと思います。私たちが利用したのは離れの一階の部屋。10畳の一間ですが、縁側があるため開放感があります。部屋には露天風呂がついており夜空や青空を眺めながら、のんびりと温泉を愉しむことができました。お料理では九州ならではの黒毛和牛のステーキも満喫でき大満足できました。敷地内はとても広いので、のんびりと散策も楽しめますよ。

A modern Japanese hot spring inn where all the rooms are independent guest cottages detached buildings! We recommend Yufuin Bettei Itsuki. The surrounding area is quiet and it is a wonderful inn where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere at the foot of Mt. Yufu. All the rooms are separate independent guest cottages with different concepts, so choosing the right room is the best part of the inn. The rooms also have private baths, so you can maintain a distance from other guests and enjoy a relaxing and private stay without worrying about your surroundings. The food is also delicious, and we especially recommend the Yufuin morning breakfast, which is made with ingredients from Yufuin.

鉄輪温泉の中心にある全8室の湯治もできる小さな老舗宿です。こちらの宿は英語対応していて外国人向けです。また弱塩化ナトリウム泉の源泉かけ流し温泉にゆっくりと浸かることができます。総檜の露天風呂や高い天井で解放感のある、天然木を使用したお風呂を楽しめます。そして食事ですが、豊後牛や別府湾の新鮮な魚などを使った会席料理が食べられます。特に「関サバ」「関アジ」のお造りは絶品ですよ。

福岡からドライブと日帰り入浴で何度か行きました。（高級ホテルなのでなかなか泊まれない！）露天風呂がとても広くて目の前には山々が広がり絶景です！そして湯上りには「喫茶BanBan」の昔ながらのプリンがおすすめ。これが目当てで通っています。館内は和風で木のぬくもりがあります。食事は旬の食材を使用していて、掘りごたつの会場もあって、親御さんも喜ぶのでは？と思います。

The bath is 100% natural hot spring a small open-air bath, it has a great atmosphere. There are plans for meals such as Seki horse mackerel and Bungo beef, so you can choose whichever you like.

How about Kamenoi Hotel? There are many customers from overseas, so language support is OK. It is located about a 4-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. There is a spacious large bath and an open-air bath, and the simple hot spring is effective for recovering from fatigue. For meals, you can enjoy Beppu's local cuisine at the restaurant.

Just a few minutes from Yufuin Station. Located in the center of the Yufuin sightseeing area, it is an excellent location for walking. The large hot spring bath is spacious and open-air bath has a sense of openness. The tasteful design makes it very comfortable, and at night you can see a beautiful starry sky. For dinner, we enjoyed a luxurious Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）of Japanese black beef. The view from the room is also excellent. The garden has a Noh stage and a watermill, and the view from there is also excellent.

Suginoi Hotel is proactive in accepting guests from overseas and seems to be able to provide language support. The hot springs and hot spring pools are enjoyable and have great views, so I think you will be pleased. This hotel is located in the center of Yufuin's hot spring town, making it convenient for strolling around hot spring town. The rooms are spacious with two rooms and have open-air bath in the room. The toilet was also clean and had a washlet (Japanese electric bidet toilet). For food, you can enjoy a steak kaiseki meal in the dining area. It was a relaxing atmosphere, so I was able to sit down and enjoy myself.

Located on the shores of Lake Kinrin, with an area of approximately 33,000 square meters, it is one of the three great inns in Yufuin. Kamenoi Besso is famous as a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is the envy of hot spring enthusiasts. You are sure to feel refreshed in the midst of nature, and you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）and relax in the large public bath with a great view. The food is carefully prepared and tasteful, with each dish left an impression. I have stayed here for work, and Yufuin is one of Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a high repeat rate. Why not give it a try?

昔ながらの源泉かけ流しとなると、明礬温泉か鉄輪温泉のエリア辺りが良いでしょう。特に湯の華で有名な明礬エリアであればどの宿も満足できると思うのですが、特にこの宿は人気が高くてなかなか予約がとれないほど。歴史ある建物で、見晴らしの良いエリアとなればその人気も納得です。
