How about Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto? It is the closest hotel to Itsukushima Shrine. Therefore, it is convenient for watching the night illumination. It is not a burden for senior citizen mothers, and it is a good subject for a haiku poem. Also, although it is not a sightseeing spot, I recommend trying the freshly baked momiji manju on the spot. There are several shops, including Fujiiya, where you can enjoy freshly baked momiji manju and tea. It is a classic momiji manju, so you probably already know the taste, but the freshly baked momiji manju was incredibly delicious!

A homely Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a large public bath
-
This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in the center of Setoda, Hiroshima. I've stayed here before, but not on a bicycle, but on a motorbike. The accommodation fee is a little high, but it's a peaceful, homey Ryokan (Japanese inn). The staff showed me around and let me park my bike under the eaves. There is also a large public bath, so you can relax after a long day of cycling. If you're staying overnight on a weekday, they have a discount plan.

It's a hotel with a nice view.
-
I recommend the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima. It's a wonderful hotel where you can comfortably enjoy the scenery around the Seto Inland Sea. You can easily travel to Miyajima by high-speed boat from the pier in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean and easy to use, and there is a hot spring, so you can enjoy the autumn flavors of Hiroshima. I would like to recommend it as an attractive choice.

A vacation village with the best sashimi buffet
-
How about relaxing at this holiday village after cycling? Dinner is Buffet, with 4-5 types of sashimi. When I went there just the other day, there were six types: sea bream, amberjack, swordfish, raw bonito, seared bonito, and squid somen. All-you-can-eat. Many other dishes are also served. There is also a large public bath and an open-air bath at Hiuchinada Onsen. From the open-air bath, you can see Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in western Japan, and it's Breathtaking view.

Lemons are Hiroshima 's specialty. This inn is famous for its lemon baths, which are filled with lemons. There are other lemon-focused hospitality touches as well. For meals, they serve a ton of seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. It's very delicious.

Convenient hotel very close to the Atomic Bomb Dome
-
If you are looking for a hotel near the Atomic Bomb Dome, I recommend "Melpark Hiroshima". It is directly connected to Hiroshima Bus Center and a 1-minute walk from Kamiyacho Nishi tram stop. It is within walking distance of the Atomic Bomb Dome. The rooms are mostly Western-style, but there are also Japanese-style rooms and barrier-free rooms. Breakfast is a buffet, but you can also enjoy local dishes such as gansu, conger eel rice, Hiroshima yaki, and momiji manju. This is the most suitable hotel for this tour.

Cyclist-friendly business hotel
-
Although it is a business hotel, you can bring your bicycle into the room, so it is safe. The bath is small, but there are bath salts, which is good for relieving fatigue. The staff are very friendly, and there is a massage machine in the lobby. The breakfast is a set meal type, but the smiles of the staff are soothing. It is a good hotel.

A hotel where you can experience a truly Japanese experience
-
We recommend this hotel on Miyajima. The hotel mainly features Japanese-style rooms, and you can see the large torii gate from the spacious and tasteful public bath. The Japanese drum demonstration incorporating light effects is a must-see, and the delicate Japanese Japanese food made with local ingredients such as oysters in winter and conger eel in summer is a feast for the eyes and the mouth. It is also close to Itsukushima Shrine and the sightseeing boat dock, so we recommend taking a night cruise.

A relaxing Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Imabari
-
I used to go to Shimanami a lot for work. I stayed at a lot of Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the best one was "Sawaki Ryokan (Japanese inn)" located right next to Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island. It's a down-to-earth Ryokan (Japanese inn). The food was delicious, mainly seafood. I remember being able to relax in the private bath.

-
A friend of mine who loves cycling chose the Imabari Urban Hotel in Ehime as his accommodation when he recently rode along the Shimanami Kaido. It is located right next to Imabari Station, and he was very happy that he could bring his bicycle into his room. He said that even with his bicycle in the room, the room was spacious and he was able to stay very comfortably. Please feel free to use this as a reference.

The scenic Kintai Bridge is right in front of you
-
The five-section wooden Kintai Bridge is right in front of the hotel. The bridge spanning the clear waters of the Nishiki River is worth crossing at least once in your life. In the summer, cormorant fishing is held here, offering a unique atmosphere. In addition, during the fireworks festival, you can enjoy a magnificent panorama that colors the night sky.

Located in the city center, close to Peace Memorial Park
-
The hotel is located between Hondori Station and Fukuromachi Station, so it is easy to get to both stations. The facilities are a little old, but the location is great. It is easy to go to the Peace Memorial Park, as well as shopping and dining, and the prices are very reasonable, so I recommend it.
