The breakfast menu was also luxurious and recommended. It's conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Matsue Station.

Tabitei Yamanoi is a relatively inexpensive inn in Tamatsukuri Onsen. However, it is still a good value for money inn. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the baths and indoor baths were great. open-air bath felt so good that I ended up staying in it for a long time. I ordered dinner in my room, and even though it was a little late, the food was brought out at the perfect time, and even though I ordered drinks multiple times, they were brought quickly. The portions were so large that I couldn't finish them, so I was very satisfied.

I recommend the Super Hotel Izumo Ekimae. It's close to the station, so you can stay there with peace of mind. It's also easy to get to Izumo Taisha Shrine. The view of Lake Shinji from the room window was amazing. I stayed in a Japanese-Japanese and Western room with an open-air bath, and the view while soaking in the bath was also nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and I was satisfied with the wide variety of dishes at breakfast as well as dinner. It is just on the opposite side of the lake from the sunset spot, so it is not possible to walk, but there seems to be a bus that runs there. I think it was about a 10-minute drive. The next day, I enjoyed a cruise on Lake Shinji.
