  • They will keep your luggage for you after check-out.

  • If you are looking for a place to stay near Todaiji Temple in Nara, we recommend Kanko Hotel Tamaru. It is located about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station, and Nara Park is right next to it. All of the rooms in this simple yet clean hotel are Japanese-style and spacious, and there is also a large public bath where you can refresh yourself. For meals, you can enjoy local kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal local ingredients. The Asuka nabe, which uses milk, is particularly delicious. The hotel offers a service where you can store your car and luggage after check-out, so you can enjoy sightseeing in the city until the evening, which is highly recommended.

254-1 Hokkeji

  • It has good access to Nara Park and a large natural hot spring bath.

  • This is a beautiful and clean hotel. It has good access to Nara Park and has a large public bath with natural hot springs. There is also a sauna. There are few inns with natural hot springs around Nara Station, so this is a rare find. The large public bath also has a pool where you can walk, so I ended up spending a lot of time there.
