You can also see the sunset from the large communal bath and open-air bath. This is a hotel that is recommended overall in hot spring, including the food and service.

We recommend Kaisenkaku, located close to hot spring Onsen Station in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. It's amazing to see the sun slowly sink into the bay as you gaze out at the expansive Mutsu Bay from open-air bath. Accommodation fees are higher during Obon, the New Year's holidays, and early August when the Nebuta Festival takes place. Prices are much cheaper off-season.
